Baltimore boxer Gervonta Davis buys Locust Point penthouse for $3.4M
Hometown boxing champion Gervonta "Tank" Davis continues his rise — but this time it's to the penthouse of a tower in Baltimore's Locust Point neighborhood.Davis on Friday acquired the 5,000-square-foot penthouse in Silo Point, a former grain elevator-turned high-rise, from entrepreneur Scott Plank for $3.4 million. Plank had listed the three-bedroom, 3.5-bath property in April for $3.75 million.Charlie Hatter, CEO and co-owner of Monumental Sotheby's International Realty, said he brokered both sides of the deal. The Realtor said he has known Davis, the current lightweight boxing champion, for years. Hatter said Davis had been on the hunt for an apartment when he showed him a video of Plank's loft-style penthouse.
