In a violent start to the Memorial Day holiday weekend, gunfire in Baltimore overnight left five people injured, including four who were hurt in a quadruple shooting, according to city police.
Just before 11 p.m. on Thursday, police were called to the 3300 block of Ramona Avenue for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, police say they found three people - two women, ages 22 and 27, and a man who is 27 years old - who had been shot. After searching the area, police found a fourth person, a 28-year-old man, in the 3400 block of Shannon Drive.
All of the victims were taken to a hospital. All of them are expected to survive.
About an hour later, police were called to a hospital for a shooting victim. At the hospital, police say they found a 42-year-old man who had been shot.
