Shooting ruled homicide 7 years after victim was shot, say Baltimore Police

BALTIMORE (WBFF) —
Baltimore City Police have identified five homicide victims, including one man who was shot seven years ago.

Police say 44-year-old Dion Williams was shot in the 2200 block of Hunter street on March 15, 2016. Police say he died on October 23, 2021. According to police, the State Medical Examiner ruled Williams' death was a homicide because he died from complications from the 2016 shooting injury.
Police also identified four other homicide victims:

- Micah Strong was killed on March 23, 2023, in the 5400 block of York Road.
- Timothy Walker Jr. was killed on March 24, 2023, in the 3000 block of Preston Street.
- Jeffery Brooks was killed on March 24, 2023, in the 3100 block of Mary Avenue.
- Nathan Smyth was killed on March 27, 2023, in the 1800 block of Eagle Street.
