According to police, around 6:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to investigate a call for a reported shooting in the 2100 block of Wilkens Avenue.
Officers responded and found a 31-year-old male inside a residence suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said later around 8:56 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Eagle Street for a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers entered a dwelling and located a 29-year-old male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
According to police, medics responded to the location and transported the victim to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
