THE NEWSROOM TONIGHT. KAI: THE LIST OBTAINED BY THE 11 NEWS I-TEAM DOES NOT HAVE NAMES OF WHO DONATED BUT IT DOES GIVE EXACT AMOUNTS IN ZIP CODES FOR THE DONATIONS. NICK MOSBY WAS ORDERED TO HAND OVER THE LIST TO THE ETHICS BOARD TO RESOLVE THE VIOLATION AFTER HE FAILED TO LIST THE FUND ON HIS FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE FORMS. HE SAYS HE DID NOT TAKE ANY MONEY FROM THE FUND. YESTERDAY THE ETHICS BOARD RELEASED A STATEMENT THAT MOSBY HAD COMPLIED WITH THE ORDER WHICH INCLUDED HANDING OVER THE LIST. THE AMOUNTS RANGE FROM THREE DOLLARS DONATIONS ALL THE WAY UP TO THE BIGGEST DONATION FOR $5,000. THAT DONATION CAME FROM PERRY HALL, WHITE MARSH AREA O BALTIMORE COUNTY. WHILE DONATIONS COME FROM MARYLAND THERE ARE OTHERS FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY. 24 STATES ARE ON THE LIST. IN TOTAL THE FUND COLLECTED 14,003 HUNDRED $52.55. On Wednesday, the 11 News I-Team acquired the list of donations made to the legal defense fund set up for former Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby and City Council President Nick Mosby.The list does not have the names of those who donated, but it does give exact amounts and ZIP codes for the donations.See the list here.Nick Mosby was ordered to hand over the list to the Baltimore City Ethics Board to resolve the violation incurred after he failed to list the fund on his financial disclosure forms.He said he did not take any money from the fund.Tuesday, the Ethics Board released a statement that Mosby had complied with the order, which included handing over this list.Donation amounts range from just $3, all the way up to the largest donation of $5,000. That donation came from the Perry Hall/White Marsh area of Baltimore County.While many of the donations come from Maryland, there are others from across the country. Twenty-four states are represented on the list.In total, the fund collected $14,352.55. The donations started in August 2021, with the most recent one collected in March 2022. Several donors set up recurring monthly donations.
