BALTIMORE (WBFF) —

Seven students in Baltimore City have been killed in 2023 to date, and another 23 teens have been shot but there has largely been a lack of public comments from elected leaders.

After a 16-year-old boy was shot at a gas station across the street from REACH Partnership school on Wednesday, Mayor Brandon Scott issued a lengthy statement that said he is “deeply disturbed” by the trend of young people using guns to settle conflicts.
