Building collapse in west Baltimore Tuesday evening (WBFF)
BALTIMORE (WBFF) —
A building collapsed in the Upton neighborhood of west Baltimore, according to Baltimore City Fire Spokesperson Roman Clark.

The incident happened Tuesday evening on the 700 block of W. Lanvale St., said the department.
Clark says that no one was injured in the incident.
There is no confirmation of what caused the building to fall from authorities but residents in the area believe the reason for the collapse is the wind.
Baltimore city has more than 14,000 vacant buildings that are privately owned according to an official database that belongs to the city.
A report from Johns Hopkins University says that vacant properties are costing taxpayers and the city an estimated $200 million a year.
