(Towson, MD) -- One of the drivers involved in a deadly work zone crash on the Baltimore Beltway will remain behind bars.

A Baltimore County judge denied bond for Lisa Lea.

The 54-year-old Randallstown woman turned herself in after she was indicted Monday on multiple charges, including six counts of negligent homicide, numerous traffic violations and DUI.

Police say Lea was behind the wheel of a car that flipped into a construction zone killing six highway workers in March.

Investigators believe she was trying to change lanes when her speeding vehicle struck another car, lost control and entered into the construction zone, where she struck the workers.

The other driver, 20-year-old Melachi Brown, is being held on home detention following his indictment.
