Device in Middle River determined not to be explosive, say Baltimore County Police

Police investigation in Baltimore County area, hazardous devices team on scene
MIDDLE RIVER, Md. (WBFF) —
The device under investigation by the Hazardous Devices Team of the Baltimore County Police was determined not to be an explosive, according to Baltimore County Police.

Police say the investigation began about 7 a.m. along Middle River Road. Middle River Road was temporarily closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic from Compass Road to Biggs Road, officials tweeted.
The device was found during a separate investigation, according to police.

Middle River Middle School went into lockdown during the situation.
