This year marked 30 years of the event -- which sees cyclists riding for a cure to diabetes. The tour aims to serve those living with diabetes and raise money to help fight the disease. This year in particular was important, as it was the first tour since the COVID-19 pandemic. The executive director of the Upstate New York Region of the American Diabetes Association, Jeff Collins, talks about the importance of the event.
"That's really the biggest take away for me and my time at ADA, is the amazing community we have here across upstate New York um because people aren't alone living with diabetes and uh, this is a great reminder of that."

There was 100-mile ride, a 30-mile ride, and a 10-mile ride this morning. CBS 6's own Lara Bryn was there to emcee the event.
