BALDWIN PARK (CNS) - A man was arrested in connection to his mother's stabbing death.
Around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to 13600 block of Palm Avenue and Center Street where they found the woman on the ground, KTLA 5 reported.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman's son was arrested, according to FOX 11. Family members told the outlet the son was diagnosed with schizophrenia but did not have a history of violent behavior nor did he show any signs of it. He was diagnosed within the last few years.
It was also revealed the woman was found by two children.
The investigation is ongoing.
