Bay Minette man killed in Baldwin County hydroplane crash (WPMI
According to ALEA, a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6:59 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, has claimed the life of a Bay Minette man.

Robert A. Mons IV, 57, was critically injured when the 2006 Ford F-150 pickup he was driving hydroplaned, left the roadway and struck a tree.
Mons was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash. Mons was transported to University Medical Hospital, in Mobile, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The crash occurred on Interstate 65 at the 44 mile marker, approximately 12 miles north of Bay Minette, in Baldwin County.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
