According to ALEA, a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:55 p.m. Friday, March 17, has claimed the life of a Selma man.

Willie J. McDole, 54, was fatally injured when the 1996 Toyota Avalon he was driving left the roadway and struck several trees.

McDole was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Interstate 65 at the 45 mile-marker, approximately 12 miles northeast of Bay Minette, in Baldwin County.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
