Meet Chicago's 3 "Golden Bachelorette" suitors

At least three Chicago dudes are vying for the affections of this season's Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos in a spinoff of last year's ABC hit" Golden Bachelor ."

The big picture: These lucky local lads will compete among 24 men, ranging in age from 57 to 69, in the new season that kicks off Sept. 18.

Zoom in: Axios Chicago dug into their bios released this week and believe Chicago's silver foxes have a good chance at snagging the rose. Here's why:

Caterer Jack, 68, is a handsome devil and a retired restaurant owner (we wish we knew which one) so he probably throws a swell party.

    • Plus: He can rock a sweater-leather jacket combo, loves to travel and plans to cook a five-star meal for his bachelorette.

Sales manager Jordan, 61, had our vote as soon as we learned he likes Lou Malnati's deep dish and long dog walks along the lake.

    • This manager sounds like he can close a sale.

Salon owner Pascal, 69: We don't know a ton about this bachelor except he is French and likes going out, but not cooking — giving Jack a potential advantage.

    • But if Joan wants a dude who can help her through a bad hair day, watch out for this Chicago contender.

Bonus bachelor: If these three tank, we think Chicago still might have a chance in 65-year-old retired banking CEO Michael from North Carolina, whose bio claims "he enjoys reading, watching movies and exploring Chicago's botanical gardens."

    • Plus: Michael has gone to Lollapalooza three times — all in his 50s!
