Man says concrete from highway overpass falls, lands on his car
A shattered windshield. A torn-up hood. That’s the damage a man must now pay to fix after he said concrete fell on his car while driving. Dakota Shay said it happened last Wednesday while he was driving home on I-471 North just outside of Cincinnati and passing under the Highland Avenue Bridge. He said he initially thought he had been hit by another car but soon realized the source of the impact came from above. “I just kind of blacked out for a second,” he told our news partners at WCPO. “Everything was nice and calm and then there was glass flying around.”

According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, temperatures will drop down to the mid-40s and lower 50s early Tuesday. This will lead to patchy fog in some local river valleys this morning.

Overnight will be dry and mild as temperatures fall back into the 50s. This will probably be the coolest low temperature we see for a while. Expect a low near 57°. Temperatures warm even more on Thursday, rising to the upper 80s. This will all be from mostly sunny skies and a southwest wind at 5 to 10 mph. Moisture slowly builds during the day ahead of our next cold front. Highs on Thursday will be at 89° with feels like temps a degree or two higher.

Cora Dow is painted on the patio area behind Brink Brewing and Just Q'in BBQ. In total, the mural is 17 by 72 feet. It shows Dow overlooking College Hill.
