Avondale barricade situation: Woman dead, man arrested

A barricade situation in Avondale ended with a woman dead and a man arrested, police said on Tuesday, May 30. At around 2:15 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting and a woman screaming near Avondale Boulevard and Buckeye Road.
