Utility pole down in Avoca closes road

AVOCA, Pa. (WOLF) —
A motor vehicle accident caused a utility pole to come down and close a road in Avoca sometime after Noon.

Main Street is closed between York Avenue and Chruch Street due to the pole and wires being down.
As of 2:50 PM Thursday afternoon, Utilies have made it to the scene to make repairs and hope to have a single lane open soon.
Officials are asking drivers to use caution in the area while repairs are being made over the next several hours.
