Four-star class of 2025 quarterback KJ Lacey has committed to the Texas Longhorns.

The upcoming junior ranks No. 70 nationally, No. 5 in quarterbacks, and No. 8 in the state of Ala., according to 247Sports Composite.

Lacey plays for Saraland High School in Saraland, Ala. Last season, he went 200-of-314 for 3,177 yards, 40 touchdowns, and five interceptions, as well as four rushing touchdowns and led the Spartans to an AHSAA 6A State Championship.

He chose the Longhorns over Auburn, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Oregon, Tennessee, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Alabama.

He is the first commit for Texas' class of 2025.
