Smethport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-1 to the Coudersport Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Smethport of the 9-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
Baseball Game Preview: Port Allegany Leaves Home
Port Allegany is 8-2 against Oswayo Valley since May of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Port Allegany Gators will head out on the road to square off against the Oswayo Valley Green Wave at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Port Allegany has three straight wins, Oswayo Valley has 12 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
