BIOGRAPHY: My name is Layla Prescott, and I am a senior this year at Pamlico County High School in Bayboro, North Carolina. I am also dual-enrolled online student at both the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics and at Pamlico Community College. I am an only child, with two family dogs. Throughout all four years of high school I have enjoyed playing varsity softball and volleyball. I was named the 1A Coastal Plains Conference Player of the Year. In my free time, I love to read, shop, hang out with my best friend and make jewelry to sell through my own local business. In the fall, I plan to attend the Honors College at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As I continue my educational dreams, I will aspire to be myself by staying honest, kind and compassionate, regardless of what comes my way.
