All three positions offer a flexible work schedule with office hours, some travel, and weekend, evening, and work-from-home hours.
Each microenterprise specialist—a small business advisor—will serve business owners in their geographic region. They will offer classes statewide online and individual coaching to entrepreneurs who are planning and launching new businesses.
New Ventures Maine (NVME) is a statewide education and economic development program administered through UMA/University of Maine System. The mission of NVME is to help Maine people succeed in the changing economy and achieve economic security for themselves and their families.
