Three people shot at Level 9 sports bar in Augusta
The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is investigating a triple shooting early Tuesday.
Richmond County sheriff's Sgt. Caleb Lee reported two women and one man were shot at the Level 9 sports bar and grill on Damascus Road near the Augusta Municipal Golf Course.
According to a news release, a deputy on site heard a gunshot inside the club at about 2 a.m. Upon investigating, the deputy found a 22-year-old woman who had been shot in the back and a 30-year-old woman shot in her left thigh.
The victims were transported to the hospital for treatment. It was later discovered that a 32-year-old man had also been shot in the back. He drove himself to the hospital.
This case is being actively investigated. There have been no updates on the victims' health since Tuesday morning.
