2023 Auburn Football Schedule Preview: Hugh Freeze Era Begins

– Auburn heads to Cal for a pivotal non-conference matchup, with the Golden Bears sporting a new offensive coordinator in former Texas A&M OC Jake Spavital.

– The Tigers’ in-state game against Samford is intriguing, as the Bulldogs are ranked seventh by the coaches and 13th by Athlon Sports in the FCS entering the season.

– Auburn’s four-game stretch against Texas A&M (away), Georgia (home), LSU (away), and Ole Miss (home) figures to be one of the toughest in the country.

– Hugh Freeze will face his former team on Oct. 21, with the Tigers set to host Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss.
