Coach Pearl has done an outstanding job making this 2023-24 roster full of talent and just added another piece in JUCO forward Addarin Scott.
He is a six-foot-nine forward who can add depth at the four and five positions for the Tigers.
Scott played his basketball at a junior college called Navarro in Texas, where he averaged 9.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game.
After watching the tape, it is clear Scott has a deep skillset of moves around the rim, whether it be a jump shot, layup, or rim-wrecking dunk.
Auburn needed depth behind Jaylin Williams, preferably with some size, so adding a guy like Scott gives you that with his six-foot-nine frame.
He is also not afraid to clean the glass, which you love to see from a guy in your frontcourt.
It will be interesting to see Scott's role on this team, but he will add depth to a position that is one injury away from being in trouble, which makes this team better.
JUCO players are gritty and hard workers, so expect Scott to come in with a first guy in, last guy out mentality.
Let's take a look at some of Scott's tape from a season ago at his JUCO.
