The 2024 College Football Hall of Fame ballot is out.
There are several well known names from Auburn and Alabama.
Here are some of the names from the state of Alabama:
Auburn:
Tommy Tuberville - Head Coach
2004 National Coach of the year. Tuberville led the Tigers to a perfect 13-0 season and an SEC title.
Gregg Carr - LB
Carr was a 1984 consensus first team All-American. He also led Auburn twice in tackles.
Ed King - OG
King led the Tigers to back-to-back conference and 10 win seasons.
Takeo Spikes - LB
Two time Auburn Defensive MVP. Is top 10 in Auburn history in tackles (331).
Alabama:
Antonio Langham - DB
First Alabama player to win the Jim Thorpe Award. 1992 National Champion.
Troy:
Larry Blakeney - HC
Four time conference Coach of the year. Lead Troy to eight conference titles.
Al Lucas - DL
A two time First Team All-American while leading Troy to three NCAA playoff appearances.
Freddie Thomas - DB
Led Troy to a NCAA D II National Championship in 1987. Team captain in 1987.
