LOOK: Derrick Brown visits Auburn football's practice

Former Auburn defensive tackle Derrick Brown made a surprise appearance at the Tigers' spring practice on Thursday.

Brown, who was a two-time All-American and the seventh overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, was back on campus for the first time since leaving the program after the 2019 season.

Brown is widely regarded as one of the best defensive linemen to ever play at Auburn, and he was a key contributor to the Tigers' success during his time in the program. He recorded 170 tackles, 33 tackles for loss, and 13.5 sacks in four seasons with the Tigers.

Since being drafted by the Carolina Panthers, Brown has recorded 142 tackles, 21.0 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks -  his most recent season was his best, in which he notced 67 total tackles, 5.0 TFL and one sack. Brown also had an interception, seven pass deflections, and 12 quarterback hits.
