WATCH: Cam Newton throws during Auburn football's Pro Day
Former Auburn quarterback and Heisman winner Cam Newton made an appearance at the Tigers' 2023 Pro Day on Tuesday afternoon.
Newton, age 33, has been working on and off in the NFL since his departure from the Carolina Panthers in 2018. After a one-year stint with the New England Patriots in 2020, Cam returned to the Panthers for five games in 2021 and recorded less than desirable stats.
Now, after a year working on his body, Newton seems ready to make a return to the league, and expressed as much at Auburn's Pro Day.
"Ain't 32 (expletive) better than me, ya dig?" Newton said in a video the night prior to the event.
It's clear he wants another shot at piloting an NFL offense, and after seeing the display Newton put on during the Pro Day, he may be ready.
Here's the entire highlight reel of Cam Newton during Auburn's Pro Day.
