Kyle Clinkscales, A 22 years old Auburn University Student in Alabama, Discovered After 47 Years
The mystery of a missing man from LaGrange, Georgia has finally been solved after more than 47 years. Kyle Clinkscales, who disappeared in 1976 at the age of 22, had been the subject of an extensive search by his parents, Louise and John Clinkscales. They left no stone unturned in their tireless search for their son, and their efforts made them crusaders for missing persons. The case was the oldest missing person cold case in Troup County, Georgia, but in December 2021, a car was found submerged in a creek in Chambers County, Alabama, containing the skeletal remains of Kyle Clinkscales. It may take months for investigators to determine a cause of death, given the age of the remains.
