Ja Morant's Status For Grizzlies-Hawks Game

On Sunday evening, the Memphis Grizzlies will be in Atlanta, Georgia, to face off with Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena. 

For the game, they will have their best player in action, as Ja Morant is listed as available on the injury report.  

The former Murray State star is in the middle of another fantastic season with averages of 26.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.1 steals per contest in 55 games while shooting 46.6% from the field. 

He had missed nine games in a row (eight for a suspension) but has returned and played well in each of the last two games. 

The Grizzlies have made the NBA Playoffs in each of the last two seasons and come into the night as one of the best teams in the league. 

They are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 46-27 record in 73 games.  

Over the last ten games, the Grizzlies have gone 8-2, and they are in the middle of a five-game winning streak. 

That said, they have not been a good team on the road, going just 14-22 in the 36 games they have played outside of Memphis, Tennessee. 

As for the Hawks, they are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 37-37 record in 74 games. 

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and a very solid 21-15 in the 36 games they have hosted on their home floor at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia,
