NFL Team Predicted to Take Over Opponent's Home Stadium in Week 3

One thing no NFL franchise wants to see is a road team outnumbering its home fans. However, that seems to be the case heading into Week 3 with this AFC West matchup.

The San Francisco 49ers (1-1) are traveling to Los Angeles to face the injury-riddled Rams (0-2), and according to VividSeats , Niners fans are expected to occupy at least 62% of SoFi Stadium on Sunday.

The relatively short trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles explains the significant presence of traveling fans, but for them to outnumber the home crowd is certainly uncommon and reflects poorly on the Rams' fanbase.

The Rams, however, are severely depleted by injuries, particularly on the offensive side of the ball. In Week 2, they played without any true tackles and are expected to be without their top two offensive weapons, Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.

While the 49ers aren’t the healthiest team either, this matchup has the potential to get ugly, especially after the Rams suffered a 41-10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals . Los Angeles may struggle to find answers against the star-studded 49ers
