Tyreek Hill's Response to Chiefs' Latest Signing Sparks Strong Fan Reaction

During the final minute of Kansas City Chiefs 26-25 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2,  Isiah Pacheco suffered a devastating injury. Pacheco, the Chiefs' No. 1 running back, fractured the fibula in his right leg, and is expected to be out for six to eight weeks.

Following Pacheco's injury, rumors swirled that the Chiefs may bring back Kareem Hunt, who the team released in 2018 after video emerged of him assaulting a woman. On September 17, ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed those rumors. Hunt, 29, is signing with the Chiefs practice squad as the team gets him up to speed.

Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who played for the Chiefs between 2016 and 2021, strongly reacted to the news of his former teammate returning to Kansas City.

Hill posted on X, "My boy Kareem back in kc I love it," which fired up Chiefs Kingdom with hope for a possible reunion.

Since the blockbuster trade that sent Hill to the Dolphins in 2022, the All-Pro receiver watched his former team win two more Super Bowls. One fan replied , "Come back with the home team man! Join back with the gang." Another fan wrote , "Not too late to come home."

One person asked , "If Tua retires, you coming back too??? Another person wrote , "Hill ask for a trade. Tua is on IR."

While Miami started off the 2024 NFL season strong, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa hit injured reserve after suffering a concussion in Week 2. Due to Tagovailoa's extensive concession history , there's a legit concern the 26-year-old quarterback may never return to play.

While Hill's chances for another championship ring takes a plunge with Tagovailoa out, he isn't leaving Miami anytime soon. The 30-year-old receiver signed an adjusted three-year, $90 million deal with the Dolphins in August, which locks him in through the 2026 NFL season.
