After putting up over 500 yards of offense in Week 1, the Colorado Buffaloes had 260 yards on offense against the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Week 2. The fewest offensive yards in a game in the Deion Sanders era was 199 against the Oregon Ducks last season.

Colorado fans felt the same way about the Nebraska game. The Buffaloes went into halftime down 28-0. Colorado's only touchdown came in the fourth quarter, but the team could not rally from the deficit and lost 28-10.

Joel Klatt broke down some of the top games from Week 2 on a recent episode of " The Joel Klatt Show ." He had plenty to discuss from the Colorado loss. Klatt said that the "elephant in the room" for Colorado was how stagnant the offense was and the poor play from the offensive line.

"Let's start with Colorado first," Klatt said. "This looks like the exact same team from last year. This is a team that is maddeningly boring on offense and an offensive line that really struggles in protection. In fact, it's the elephant in the room that their head coach has to at least address. Just simply why it was so difficult for the offense to respond to Nebraska's defense."

Sanders was sacked six times in the loss and finished the game with -30 rushing yards. Sanders had 244 yards passing, one touchdown, and one interception. Nebraska cornerback Tommi Hill returned Sanders' one interception for a pick-six.

The Colorado rushing attack was limited to 16 rushing yards. Dallan Hayden led the team with just 32 rushing yards.

Last season, Colorado allowed the most sacks in the Pac-12 with 56. The Buffaloes have the second-most sacks allowed in the Big 12 heading into Week 3 with seven.

The Buffaloes face the Colorado State Rams on Sept. 14. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
