Firefighters in Athens are trying to figure out what started a house fire on U.S. 72.
Athens Fire and Rescue says it broke out at 7:17 p.m. near Kids Mart.
Fire Chief James Hand said the home is a total loss. The house was for sale and not occupied. No one was injured.Â
