Justin Liles: Snow along the south shore

Winds will stick around through the weekend. Lake effect will continue along the south shore where as much as 3-6″ in the higher terrain east of Ashland. Temperatures will climb closer to normal on Sunday into the mid 30s. We will likely stay mild to start the work week. We will once again be watching a prolonged weather maker for the middle to end of next week. Rain and snow is likely with the new storm next week. Right now, it’s way too early to make a call on snowfall amounts.

A 10 percent chance of snow before 7am. Patchy blowing snow before 2pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 23. Windy, with a northwest wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
