This week's WNC high school girls soccer rankings saw very little movement after a steady week among the top teams. Murphy is the lone new entrant in the top 10.

Here are this week's power rankings .

1. West Henderson (13-0)

The Falcons continue to dominate competition and have allowed just one goal in their past eight games. Senior Marianne Maxon, WNC's all-time leading goal scorer , has tallied 28 goals in 2024.

Last week: No. 1. This week: at East Henderson (Monday), vs. Smoky Mountain (Wednesday), at Crest (Thursday)

2. Hendersonville (10-2)

The Bearcats have won 10 straight, dating back to an early season loss to West Henderson. Hendersonville's latest win came over then-No. 10 Polk County behind two goals from senior Maggie Bish.

Last week: No. 3. This week: at Chase (Tuesday), vs. East Rutherford (Thursday), vs. East Henderson (Friday)

3. Asheville High (9-2-2)

Asheville welcomed one of the state's top teams in Ardrey Kell and fell 3-0. A win this week against Reynolds can all but secure a share of the Mountain Athletic Conference title.

Last week: No. 2. This week: vs. Erwin (Monday), vs. No. 5 Reynolds (Wednesday)

4. Roberson (8-5)

The Rams suffered a similar fate to Asheville High, losing 4-1 to Ardrey Kell, but maintained their spot over Reynolds after winning their recent meeting.

Last week: No. 4. This week: at North Buncombe (Monday), vs. Enka (Wednesday)

5. Reynolds (13-3)

The Rockets combined to win last week's games 12-0. Junior Ruby Jacobelly scored four goals, including a hat trick against North Buncombe, and freshman Julianna Gonzalez scored three.

Last week: No. 5. This week: vs. Enka (Monday), at No. 3 Asheville High (Wednesday)

6. Brevard (14-1-1)

After drawing against East Rutherford to open the week, Brevard is getting its rhythm back. The Blue Devils won two games with leading scorers Nora Felty and Charley Goodwin each recording a brace.

Last week: No. 6. This week: vs. Chase (Wednesday), at East Henderson (Thursday)

7. Madison (10-0-1)

The Patriots won their lone game last week 7-0 against Mitchell. A win against NCSSM: Morganton would put Madison in the driver's seat in the Western Highlands Conference.

Last week: No. 7. This week: vs. NCSSM: Morganton (Monday), at Draughn (Wednesday)

8. Swain County (9-3)

The Maroon Devils remained undefeated in conference play with wins over Cherokee and Blue Ridge Early College last week. Junior Mya Burrows-Kurr is up to 22 goals on the season.

Last week: No. 8. This week: vs. Highlands (Monday), vs. Cherokee (Thursday)

9. Polk County (7-4-3)

Despite a loss last week to No. 2 Hendersonville, the Wolverines climb a spot in the rankings with two strong wins. Five players combined to score Polk County's seven goals in the victories.

Last week: No. 10. This week: at R-S Central (Tuesday)

10. Murphy (9-3)

The Bulldogs are back in the rankings for the first time since Week 5 after winning both of their contests last week, snapping a three-game skid.

Last week: Unranked. This week: at Blue Ridge Early College (Monday), at Hayesville (Thursday)
