An Ashburn man has been arrested following the drug overdose of a 13-year-old Fauquier County girl earlier this week, according to a news release.

On Tuesday, the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a 13-year-old female that had apparently overdosed on LSD and psilocybin, or “shrooms.” The overdose was not fatal.

While investigating, the sheriff’s office’s Street Crimes Unit discovered contact information for the distributor of the illegal narcotics. The detectives contacted him, posing as a juvenile, and arranged to purchase drugs. On Thursday, the dealer traveled to Marshall to conduct the sale, the release stated.

When the dealer arrived, he was apprehended, and detectives located LSD and MDMA, or ecstasy, according to the release.

Shayan Seifzadeh, 18, of Ashburn, was charged with two counts of distribution of a Schedule 1 or 2 substance and one count of distribution of a schedule 1 or 2 substance to a minor. He was being held Friday at the Fauquier Adult Detention Center without bond.
