The Blue Earth Area track teams participated in the seven-team Waseca Invitational on Thursday, May 16. The host Bluejays topped Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton by one and a half points to capture the title for the boys. Waseca totaled 143 points to JWP’s 141.5. New Ulm was third with 122 points, St. James came in fourth with 106, BEA finished fifth with 67, Waterville-Elysian-Morristown placed sixth with 53.5 and Kasson-Mantorville was seventh with 40.
