FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The Thompson Tommies advanced to their third consecutive state title game with a win over Sheyenne-New Rockford while the Spoilers advanced to the title game with a win over Central Cass. It’s the first state championship game appearance for Grafton since 2013.
Thompson 3-Peats in Class B Baseball; Defeats Grafton 4-3 Via Walk-Off
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KVRR)–Thompson entered Saturday’s championship game versus Grafton winners of two straight class B Titles. They got their third in spectacular fashion. At Jack Brown Stadium in Jamestown the Thompson Tommies battled the Grafton spoilers in their quest for a third straight championship. Junior Jonathan Muhs came to the plate with the bases loaded no outs in a tie game and delivered a base hit over the head of the right fielder to score the game winning run.

Grand Forks man to be charged with DUI after crash in Pembina County
DRAYTON, N.D. (Valley News Live) - DUI charges are listed for a Grand Forks man after a crash Sunday. It happened at just before 5 PM at State Highway 66 & 159th Ave NE. North Dakota Highway Patrol says 28-year-old Jedidiah Enno was northbound from Grand Forks heading to Drayton. They say Enno had been driving at high rates of speed westbound on State Highway 66 and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle went partially into the south ditch and then crossed over into the north ditch and rolled.
