SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - The Greater Springfield Area Crime Stoppers hopes you’ll help them catch Bradley James Edmonds. A warrant is out for the arrest of Edmonds, 31, on a charge of first-degree robbery. The court documents used to charge him accuse Edmonds of robbing a Springfield convenience store on March 31. The clerk on duty told police Edmonds pointed a gun at her, then grabbed a $10 bill from the register. He also left with a fountain drink worth 49 cents.

Ozarks Food Harvest donates 10 millionth meal to Crosslines Food Pantry
Ozarks Food Harvest donated its 10 millionth meal to the Crosslines Food Pantry March 14 in celebration of the 33-year-long partnership that began in 1990. Through its partnership with Ozarks Food Harvest, Crosslines Food Pantry distributes USDA food, Senior Boxes, fresh produce and additional food items to more than 1,700 families each month.

Wallop Bernie Lady Mules in semifinal, 17-4; played Concordia for state title. The Ash Grove High School Lady Pirates softball team defeated the Bernie High School Lady Mules at the semifinals for the Class 1 State Championship semifinals on Monday, May 20, at the Killian Sports Complex in Springfield to advance to the finals on Tuesday, May 21. The Lady Pirates defeated the Lady Mules, 17-4. The teams were tied early in the game. Ash Grove scored two runs at the top of the first inning, only to see Bernie pull ahead by scoring three runs at the bottom. The Lady Pirates then scored two more runs at the top of the second, but Bernie scored another run, tying both teams 4-4.
