SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - The Springfield Police Department will hand out tickets during crosswalk yield checks in the city. Drivers who fail to yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk and pedestrians who endanger their or someone else’s life by illegally crossing will be stopped.
