It was training day last Sunday for Jay Laird, who was preparing for the 2024 Finger Lakes Tour de Cure cycling fundraiser to benefit the American Diabetes Association. "A good friend of mine and a neighbor, his 6-year-old ended up with diabetes and he asked me to support him as he was doing the Tour de Cure," said Laird.
