GMFS Salvation Army of Jasper & Newton Counties!
Nathan Hicks, Volunteer Coordinator at The Salvation Army of Jasper and Newton Counties came on the show to talk about how you can help give and serve the community with Salvation Army, which include the End of School Year Bash at KDK Airsoft on Thursday, May 23rd from 4pm to 8pm! Everyone is welcome, but please make sure that parents visit KDK’s website to pre-register their children and sign the waiver which will allow them to play in all the fun activities. Dinner and snacks will be provided, all you need to do is bring a non-perishable food item to help contribute to their food pantries! Lastly, Nathan shares with us how they help serve the community during severe weather season, like their free community storm shelter at the Joplin office!
