Big weekend lottery prizes sold in Wisconsin Rapids, Antigo and Prairie du Sac

Three lottery players who purchased tickets in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin Rapids and Antigo over the weekend have some big winnings to celebrate, the Wisconsin Lottery announced in a news release Monday.

A $1.5 million Megabucks jackpot-winning ticket was sold at Prairie Cenex, 1300 Prairie St. in Prairie du Sac, for the March 18 drawing. The winning numbers were 11-30-34-35-36-39.

"We sell quite a few Megabucks tickets here, but we've never sold a winning ticket this big,” said Prairie Cenex Assistant Manager Amanda Pospiehal. “It was definitely a nice surprise. We're all wondering who the winner is."

Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a 2% retailer performance winning ticket incentive, up to $100,000, the Wisconsin Lottery said.

On March 17, a $350,000 SuperCash! winning ticket was purchased at Kwik Trip, 3030 Plover Road in Wisconsin Rapids. The winning numbers were 9-11-14-20-28-34.

And a $23,000 Badger 5 jackpot-winning ticket was sold at Kwik Trip, 815 S. Superior St. in Antigo, for the March 17 drawing. The winning numbers were 3-8-12-16-27.

Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. All winning tickets need to be signed. Prizes of $600 to $199,999 can only be claimed at the Madison or Milwaukee Lottery offices in person or by mail. Winning tickets of $200,000 or more must be redeemed in person at the Madison Lottery office.

The odds of winning the Megabucks jackpot are 1 in 6,991,908. The odds of winning the $350,000 SuperCash! top prize are 1 in 1,631,312. The odds of winning the Badger 5 jackpot are 1 in 169,911.
