Anne Arundel County Police arrested two teenage boys early this morning who they said were trying to steal cars.

One boy is 16 years old and from Laurel. The other boy is 15 years old and from Middle River. Because of their ages, their identities are being withheld.

Officers were sent to the 8100 block of Harold Court in Glen Burnie at 2 a.m. for a report of a damaged car. During the investigation, police say they learned that the suspects broke the windows of two Hyundai sedans and tried to steal them.

As officers were arriving at the scene, both boys ran away, according to police.
