Anne Arundel County Police are talking about their latest crackdown on speeding.
During a two-hour period midday on Tuesday, authorities conducted a speed enforcement effort on the Arundel Expressway which runs from Pasadena up to 695 around Glen Burnie.
Using the aviation unit, marked and unmarked cars caught multiple drivers going 85 miles an hour, stopping more than a dozen for speeding.
Police said some vehicles were clocked at 114 miles per hour.
It’s part of a county effort to target various county roadways as a result of crashes, aggressive driving, and speed complaints.
