19-year-old arrested in connection to deadly shooting in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A homicide investigation is currently underway in Annapolis following an incident that occurred on Saturday night.

Officers were called to the 1100 block of Madison Street after 10:00 p.m. where they located a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim, identified as 26-year-old Amari Tydings, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Further investigation revealed a suspect was at the scene of the shooting.

The suspect, identified as 19-year-old Dyamonick Gray, was arrested on June 9.

Gray is charged with first degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony/violent crime, and possession of a regulated firearm while under 21.

He is currently being held without bond.
