Wrongful death suit filed
The family of an Andrews woman killed in a wreck in December have filed a wrongful death lawsuit. According to the lawsuit filed in Ector County District Court Monday, Misty Dawn Dorries, 37, was a passenger in a car being driven by Kent Taylor Alfred Beckett on Dec. 19, 2022 when he failed to yield the right of way at SE 1500 and U.S. 385 in Andrews County.
Grand opening held for Permian Regional Medical Center memory care unit
