Anderson police arrest suspect for DUI, his fourth DUI arrest in 10 years

Anderson police said a DUI investigation revealed the suspect to be intoxicated while driving.

ANDERSON, Calif. - The Anderson Police Department said they arrested a man on Friday for DUI, making it his fourth DUI arrest in ten years.

Police responded to the Anderson River Park area at around 7:45 p.m. after receiving a report of a possible DUI driver. Officers were able to find a car matching the caller’s description in the area of Interstate 5 and Riverside Avenue.

Officers pulled the driver, later identified as Joseluis Hernandez, 21, of Redding, over and conducted a DUI investigation, revealing that Hernandez was driving while intoxicated, according to police.

Hernandez was arrested and booked into the Shasta County Jail on the charge of felony DUI.
