The Fighting Chicks took their game to Taft Stadium and did battle with John Marshall last Friday. The Chicks can crow about their 49-28 win over the John Marshall Bears. This will be the last of away games for awhile. Chicks host Woodward on their new field and revamped stadium this Friday.

Dragons hosting Regional

FOOTBALL: Chickasha battles against Weatherford
Sep. 25—WEATHERFORD — The Fightin' Chicks kept fighting. District play has arrived, and the Chickasha football team traveled to Weatherford on Friday for a District 4A-1 opener. Chickasha continued to fight and won the second half, but a ranked Weatherford team had too big of a lead and walked away with a 35-15 victory over the Fightin' Chicks.
SOFTBALL: Cyril Lady Pirates sail to district sweep
Sep. 22—CYRIL — The Cyril Lady Pirates are moving on. Remaining a softball power in 2023, Class A No. 6 Cyril earned the opportunity to host a district in the Class A postseason on Wednesday. And the Lady Pirates took advantage, sailing to a sweep over the Lady Comets of Velma-Alma.
SOFTBALL: Lady Chicks take down Western Heights
Sep. 21—The Lady Chicks have continued to fight throughout the season. A young Chickasha team under first-year head coach Erin Workman saw their fight pay off during district play in Chickasha on Wednesday. The Lady Chicks entered the win column this season and took down Western Heights at home.
