Andre Jackson & UConn punch ticket to Sweet 16 with win over St. Mary’s

Amsterdam native Andre Jackson Jr. and the UConn Huskies punched their ticket to the Sweet 16 with a 70-55 win over St. Mary’s Sunday night at MVP Arena. Jackson had 7 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the victory. It’s UConn’s first appearance in the Sweet 16 since 2014 when they finished the season as national champs.
